Lizzie liebt ihr Buch über Piraten und manchmal schläft sie darüber ein. Im Traum erlebt sie als Piratin an Bord des Schiffes von Captain Porridge verwegene Abenteuer.
Lizzie and the Pirate ist ein lustiges Piratenabenteuer für Dritt- und Viertklässler. Das Stück verwendet Vokabular wie Farben, Körperteile, Kleidungsstücke, Zahlen, Tiere, Wetter, Wegbeschreibungen und bezieht sich auf Themen aus dem Unterricht – z.B. the pirate ship, the haunted castle, feelings, food, simple actions etc.
Der gesprochene Text wird mit Gesten pantomimisch untermalt, sodass auch Schüler mit sehr geringen Englischkenntnissen den Stücken problemlos folgen können.
